Falkirk could have Tom Taiwo back for the visit of St Mirren

Falkirk striker Lee Miller is a major doubt for the visit of St Mirren but the Bairns could welcome Tom Taiwo back.

Kieran Duffie continues to be absent with a knee injury with manager Peter Houston looking for his men to pick up where they left off against Dumbarton last weekend.

Houston said: "St Mirren are a big team in this league and this is a big game. It is good to be going into it after a very well-deserved 5-0 win at Dumbarton. If we play like that again I will be delighted.

"St Mirren have improved throughout the season so we have to go out and see them off."

St Mirren will include Alan Gow in their plans if he has suffered no adverse reaction to playing in a midweek development game after an ankle injury.

A knee problem continues to keep Jason Naismith out with the Saints looking to build on a solid display against leaders Rangers.

Manager Ian Murray said: "We lost 1-0 to Rangers however we could have taken something from the game. The tempo we played at was good and much better than it was earlier in the season.

"Progress is being made but we need to turn improved performances into points. Falkirk will be confident after their win at Dumbarton but we can succeed."
