John Hughes will only have 3 players who helped win the title under contract at the end of this season and he has warned the others to be realistic with their wage demands or leave the Club.
Yogi should find out his budget for the SPL sometime this week and he is looking to add at least six new faces to his squad.
He knows the players win bonuses will at least double and he went on to say: “I'll do everything to get the boys the best deals but they should be realistic and not cut off their noses to spite their face.
“If they think the grass is greener and they can get better deals elsewhere I'll be the first to shake their hands - but the days of massive wages are gone”
“If they are ambitious they will find playing in the SPL a big enough incentive”
Hughes also added: “From the chairman to the groundsman we are looking at ways of improving Falkirk FC.”
“We will be favourites to go straight back down but if we have characters in the dressing room with a point to prove, that could be the key”
