Falkirk manager John Hughes has a fully-fit squad to choose from for the trip to Paisley. Defender Jack Ross could finally return to action after being sidelined since September with a hernia problem. Hughes wants to extend Newcastle United goalkeeper Tim Krul's loan stay at the club and is keen to sign trialist Stephen Bradley on a permanent deal.

St Mirren manager Gus MacPherson has received a boost with the news that Ian Maxwell was able to return to training this week. The defender has not played this season because of a knee injury but is set to feature for the reserves next Tuesday. Craig Dargo is also progressing with his rehabilitation from a hamstring njury but is not expected to return to first-team action before Christmas.
