Aberdeen manager Mark McGhee: "We will have to play a lot better than we did on Saturday or we will lose to Falkirk.

"If we play the way we did on Wednesday then we will win, by a few goals I would imagine.

"When you look at your team and how it performs and they win and they lose, there have been days when we've been critical of the strikers or the creative side if you like."

Falkirk manager Eddie May: "Pele will be out for a long time. It's a big hole in our defence.

"We are down a few players and we just have to regroup and get on with it."
