Dundee United v Falkirk

Carl Finnigan is doubtful for the bottom of the league visitors with a hamstring problem. Danijel Marceta has an ankle knock and is unlikely to play, while Pedro Pele remains a long-term absentee.

Dundee United manager Peter Houston: "This game will be nothing like the match against Falkirk last month so you can't look into that at all.

"We played very well on the day and at the same time they were on a bit of a downer.

"Steven Pressley has come in and got his first win last weekend over Aberdeen.

"Their style will change a wee bit. I expect them to sit behind the ball a bit more and look for the counter-attacks."

Falkirk manager Steven Pressley: "The players set the standards at the weekend - I knew they were capable of that and hopefully now they know they are capable of that.

"Tannadice is a difficult place to go but I think our players will believe they can get a result, because I certainly believe we can get a result there.

"If we can do that, the momentum builds and the confidence grows."
