Falkirk manager Steven Pressley says his first aim is to encourage a positive spirit among his players.Pressley lost his first game in charge last weekend against Hearts, leaving Falkirk four points adrift at the bottom of the Scottish Premier League.

"The main job is to try and get the players to hone in and to have a winning mentality," said Pressley.

"The spirit this week has been fantastic and I'm sure that the players will take that into Saturday's game."

Aberdeen make the trip to Falkirk Stadium this weekend and, with 13 league games left until the end of this season, Pressley insists that each match is approached as if it was a cup final.

Midfielder Vitor Lima is back in contention again after recovering from a knock and Pressley is keen to maintain confidence in the squad to face Mark McGhee's side.

"The motivational and psychological aspects of each match is vital given the position we are in," added the manager.

"I've got a very good squad of players that I'm delighted with."

One player who will not be involved is veteran defender Jackie McNamara, who has joined Partick Thistle on loan.
