O'Donnell drives the Dee to victory

A Stephen O'Donnell thunderbolt put Dundee on course for a 3-1 win over Falkirk.

Dundee took the lead after 10 minutes thanks to O'Donnell, who fired an unstoppable 25-yard drive into the top-left corner of the net.

Falkirk equalised 15 minutes later with a similarly brilliant strike, Mark Millar firing in from 30 yards.

The Dee went back ahead from the spot 10 minutes before the break after Darren Dods handled in the box. Ryan Conroy made no mistake with the penalty, placing it into the bottom-left corner.

Falkirk almost equalised through top scorer Farid El Alagui but Robert Douglas parried his header, and Dundee went further ahead just before the hour thanks to Steven Milne's clinical finish after good work from Leighton Mcintosh.
