Falkirk claim fiery point

Mark Millar's injury-time penalty earned nine-man Falkirk a late equaliser in a 1-1 draw against Livingston at the Almondvale Stadium.

The visitors went down to ten men after 38 minutes when midfielder Stewart Murdoch was dismissed for a rash challenge on Livingston's Steven Scougall.

Livingston made the numerical advantage count with 20 minutes remaining when Iain Russell forced home Jonathan Brown's cross from close range.

Victory seemed secure for the hosts before Bairns striker Farid El Alagui was upended in the area by Paul Watson in injury time, allowing Millar to equalise from the penalty spot.

Kallum Higginbotham became the second Falkirk player to see red when he was dismissed in the final moments for violent conduct, but Steven Pressley's men were able to hold on for their point.
