Smith show does trick for Raith

David Smith scored one and created the second as Raith came from behind to beat Falkirk 2-1.

The visitors attacked fluidly and defended well in the opening stages of the match and capped off a dominant first-half display when Luke Leahy took advantage of Edward Malone's slip to poke home from close range in the 43rd minute.

The Bairns shot out of the blocks in the second half and had three opportunities to extend their lead within five minutes of the restart. But Rovers turned defence into attack and equalised against the run of play when Smith's 20-yard effort shot past Falkirk stopper Michael McGovern in the 56th minute.

Raith then sealed victory in the 85th minute when Grant Anderson tapped in from close range after good work from Smith.
