Seventh heaven for County

Ross County won for the seventh consecutive league game by defeating second-placed Falkirk 3-1 to stretch their lead at the top of the table.

The home side went ahead with their first attack, Scott Boyd crossing for Stuart Kettlewell who planted his header into the bottom corner.

But Falkirk hit back in the 10th minute thanks to Murray Wallace's clinical finish after good work from Farid El Alagui.

The league leaders went back in front early in the second half after Michael Gardyne neatly converted Richard Brittain's pass.

County made the game safe in the last 10 minutes when Gary Miller picked up on the loose ball and swept his effort into the top corner.
