Dundee V Falkirk at Dens Park Stadium - Match Preview

Triple boost for Dundee

Dundee include the fit-again trio of Stephen O'Donnell, Leighton McIntosh and Jamie Reid in their squad as they look to gain revenge on Falkirk.

But the Dark Blues will be missing the injured Kyle Benedictus (back) and Willie Dyer (leg) as they look to make up for a 3-1 reverse at the Falkirk Stadium back in September.

Assistant manager Ray Farningham said: "They really turned us over at their own place and thoroughly deserved their win.

"However, we are at home now and have a bit of confidence about us so we are well up for getting our own back.

"We played well to beat Raith last weekend and are after a repeat."

Falkirk have Jonny Flynn and Ollie Durojaiye pushing for starting places at Dens Park after they were both involved in an midweek under-20 game following injury.

Their return gives manager Gary Holt a full-strength squad to pick from with the Bairns asked to build on their performance in last weekend's 4-1 win over Livingston.

Technical Director Alex Smith said: "Our second-half display last Saturday was our best of the season.

"We will need that level again against a strong Dundee side and if we reach it we can win the three points.

"We are going there aiming to get very involved at the top of the table."
