Falkirk v Partick Thistle

Last updated : 14 March 2011 By BBC Sport

Partick are without Willie Kinniburgh, Ross McGeough and Simon Donnelly through injury as they look to build on Saturday's fine win at Raith Rovers.

However, Paul Cairney and Bryan Hodge could return after knocks for the in-form visitors.

Falkirk manager Steven Pressley: "Losing to Dunfermline certainly hurt us but we are not out of things as Partick did us a favour, but we need to repay that favour by defeating Ian McCall's men.

"We played some good stuff at times on Saturday and we just need to do that consistently over the 90 minutes.

"The games between us and Thistle have been really tight this season and this one will be no different."

Partick Thistle assistant boss Ian Maxwell: "We did them a wee turn at the weekend in a game where we played really well and passed the ball to a high standard.

"But there are no plans to do any more favours.

"It's only our second league game of the season against each other but we know one another well through three different cup ties."
