Falkirk maintained their faint promotion hopes with victory over relegated Stirling Albion.Mark Millar stroked home a penalty to give the Bairns a 37th-minute lead after Stirling's Scott Robertson had fouled Brian McLean.

Tam McManus fired home the visitors's second before the interval.

Gordon Smith headed a goal back for the hosts and Falkirk's Stephen Kingsley was sent off for a professional foul on Michael Doyle but the Bairns held on.
